Another award has been placed to credit of the state-of-the-art data protecting solutions under the NOD32 logo. Virus Bulletin (VB) 100% Award certificate is a great honor for any antivirus vendor. It evaluates the abilities to detect In the Wild viruses that represent a real threat to the Internet users. Altogether 37 VB 100% Awards since 1998 clearly show the quality of Eset’s solution for different platforms. These days, NOD32 received the latest of them.

 

VB magazine tests were again, after one year, performed on Red Hat Linux 9 platform. NOD32 retained two certificates for this operation system from the past. At the same time it convinced with one of the best average times of hard disc scan rate. “The Eset submission not only performed admirably in detection, but also offered well documented installation procedures, ” said Matt Ham, VB editor in April publication. Magazine thus found out, that very frequent weakness in other tested antivirus solutions was the quality of documentation.
